Cookie Policy

Effective date: 2026-08-27

This Cookie Policy explains how Latitude Construction SIA ("we", "our", or "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website www.latitudeyachts.eu.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your actions and preferences over time. We also use related technologies such as local browser storage where described below.

2. Types of Cookies We Use

Strictly necessary

  • ly_cookie_consent (first-party, 180 days) – stores your Accept or Reject choice for the cookie banner.
  • csrftoken (first-party, session or short-lived) – protects forms against cross-site request forgery.
  • sessionid (first-party, session) – set only when a session is needed, for example when signing in to site administration.

Security and anti-spam

  • Google reCAPTCHA – loaded when you interact with the contact form, to reduce spam and abuse. Google may set its own cookies and collect device and behavioural signals as part of that check.

Analytics (only after you Accept)

  • Google Analytics 4 – _ga and _ga_* (up to 2 years) – help us understand how visitors use the site.

Marketing (only after you Accept)

  • Meta Pixel – _fbp (up to 90 days), loaded from connect.facebook.net – used for advertising measurement.
  • Server-side Meta Conversions API – after Accept, we may send a hashed email address (where available), your IP address and browser user agent to Meta when pages are viewed or the contact form is used.

Embedded content

  • YouTube (Google) – background video and embeds may load with the page and set their own cookies and storage. These are not gated by the cookie banner.

3. Storage Other Than Cookies

After you Accept, our marketing script may store your email address in browser localStorage and sessionStorage under the key user_email, so contact-related events can be associated with an enquiry. Clearing site data, or using the control below, removes that value.

4. How Long Do Cookies Last?

Some cookies are deleted when you close your browser (session cookies), others remain until they expire or are manually deleted (persistent cookies). Durations for specific cookies are listed in section 2.

5. How to Control Cookies

When you first visit our website, a consent banner lets you Accept or Reject non-essential cookies (analytics and marketing). Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel, our Meta Conversions API measurement, and the related marketing script load only if you choose Accept. Your choice is stored in the essential ly_cookie_consent cookie so we remember it on later visits.

Some scripts (for example htmx) are served from the unpkg.com CDN, which receives your IP address as part of delivering the file.

You can also control and/or delete cookies through your browser. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View what cookies are stored
  • Delete all or specific cookies
  • Block third-party cookies
  • Block all cookies from certain websites
  • Set preferences for specific websites

For more details, check your browser's help section. Using the button above, or clearing site data including the ly_cookie_consent cookie, will show the banner again so you can choose again. Tracker cookies we can reach (_ga, _ga_*, _fbp, _fbc) and the stored email are cleared when you use the button; the page then reloads so previously loaded scripts are no longer active.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with the updated date.
